Meet the Author

Always ride the dragon!

 

Fantasy stories have been a part of Fenton’s life since her dad read The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings aloud with her at the age of twelve.  That valuable time together kindled a love for reading and fantasy that still burns bright today! 

 

Fenton lives in a small Midwestern town with her spouse, three boys, and her faithful shepherd.  She has an A.A. in Creative Writing, a B.S. in English, and an M.A. in Professional Writing.  The question of her PhD in English is still up for debate after her acceptance into the program.  To spend two more years in classes or not to spend two more years in classes… that truly is the question!

 

When she is not writing, she spends her time creating and running D&D campaigns, playing video games (alone and with her boys), and throwing a ball dozens of times for her German Shepherd.  She is also an active member of the DAR, and the Wright Writers of Dayton writing group, where she serves as the treasurer.
